Meet Jeremiah

AUTHOR

Jeremiah Jwok Gai is a South Sudanese-born author and human rights advocate, best known for his compelling book “The Hostage Wife.” Drafted forcibly into the SPLA/SPLM Sudanese Red Army as a child soldier, Jeremiah’s early life was marked by the brutal realities of war and displacement. He later fled to Kenya, seeking refuge in the Kakuma and Dadaab camps, where he met and married his first wife, Sarah.

“The Hostage Wife” – I write not just to remember, but to ensure the world cannot forget.
